Collision in North Hills Area Triggers Alarm

In the early hours of this morning, a significant car accident occurred at the intersection of Horather Straße, Ibacher Mill Street, and Nordrather Street in Wuppertal.

The Wuppertal police station was swiftly on the scene at 2:30 AM. The police secured the area and both vehicles involved for speed determination. A ladder was set up to get a better overview of the accident scene.

The accident resulted in severe damage to both cars, necessitating their removal by tow trucks. The Dönberg fire station of the volunteer fire department was the first to arrive at the scene, disconnecting the batteries of both vehicles and absorbing any leaked fluids, which were then removed.

Emergency services attended to the injured, providing first aid, and three ambulances and a doctor arrived shortly after the accident. All four individuals involved were taken to hospitals for further treatment.

The exact health status of the individuals is not yet known, but there is no risk to life. The accident caused traffic disruptions and rerouting in the area.

The police completely blocked off the intersection during the rescue and recovery operations. Only after the area was cleared by the fire department was it reopened. The exact amount of property damage is not yet known, but it is likely to be in the five-figure range.

The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
