The automotive world is abuzz with excitement as Cupra, the high-performance subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, prepares to launch its latest creation – the Raval VZ. This compact electric vehicle is set to make waves, combining power, innovation, and a nod to Barcelona's vibrant culture.

The Raval VZ, with its striking 19-inch wheels and wider 235 mm tires, promises a dynamic and emotional driving experience, despite its compact length of just four meters. Powered by a front-wheel drive system, this urban electric vehicle is expected to produce up to 225 hp, making it a formidable force on the roads.

The management team behind the Raval project includes Markus Haupt, the Interim CEO of CUPRA, and Sven Schuwirth, VP of Sales, Marketing, and Aftersales at CUPRA. These industry veterans are leading the charge, driving the project and the brand's growth initiatives.

Standard features on the Raval include sports suspension, specifically tuned suspension, progressive steering, and ESC Sport. For those seeking an even more exhilarating ride, the Raval VZ will feature DCC sports suspension and an electronic VAQ limited-slip differential.

Safety and convenience are not compromised in the Raval. It comes equipped with systems such as Travel Assist with lane change and traffic light recognition, Intelligent Park Assist, and a 360-degree Area View camera.

The Raval is part of the new urban electric vehicle family of the Core brand within the Volkswagen Group. Production of the Raval and the Volkswagen ID. Polo will begin soon in the Spanish city of Martorell. The Raval will have its official world premiere in 2026 in Barcelona.
